About

Pad53 has evolved into a cross-platform of curated news outlet, plus personal blog for my art and photography content.

Pad53 was launched due to frustration of consistently having my social accounts (primarily on Twitter) suspended over non-pc comments or posts I’ve made, and do not regret. In my opinion, there is too much pushing for political correctness when it comes to pointing out the stereotypes people live up to.

I got tired of having my social accounts suspended over not being politically correct, and having something to say on various societal issues. I launched Pad53 where my FREEDOM OF SPEECH does get FREEDOM OF REACH, where I don’t have to pay for a check mark. So if you’re going to frequent this website, you will abide by my rules, or read elsewhere.

This website started out as my personal space to share curated content, promote my art & photography, and to write my thoughts where no one has any say on what I post if I decide to voice something on my mind in writing. Here at Pad53, Twitter, Facebook, or any other social network cannot suspend me for voicing my opinions. Here, YOU either align with what I say, or YOU fuck off on your merry way. There is no debate. Your opposing thoughts hold no merit, and will not be given publicity. I really hate to have that attitude when really all I want to do is publish content, along with my opinions, without having to worry about a cancel culture mob trying to shut it down because they didn’t like something I said, or a social platform places a never ending suspension on my account to save their dieing ad revenue.

So welcome to my online notebook. There is little to no political correctness here, and I don’t give a fuck about feelings. There are too many thin-skin people on this internet, and at my age, I don’t have any interest to deal with that. If you’re feeling hurt about something I’ve said, go talk to your mama, or a psychiatrist. Keep your drama to yourself, or give it to your mama. Save your drama for your mama. I ain’t the one.

Format:

I run this blog like I would run a social network account. Think of this website as operating similar to Twitter, but in blog form using WordPress, with blog posts serving as tweets. Because this is a blog, I am able to sort content like a traditional blog, which is something you can’t do on a social network. So this gives me access to post “on the fly” while also building an archive of my content and thoughts. I use very few images on this blog. That just helps me to keep this blog simple. I keep a running tally in the post titles. Why you may ask? I just like to know how many posts I’ve made to the blog at a glance. The numbers tell me how much work I put into this project, similar to post counts on Twitter.

If you follow my blog enough, you will notice that I use a lot of “canned statements” in my blog posts. This is appropriate for the type of content that I’m posting, which are collections of links to various things like recommended blogs and social media pages. I do this also because it is a format that makes it easy to maintain this blog from my phone or tablet when I’m not able to get online with my laptop. You will also notice a “2BL” tag used on many of my posts. This tag is short for “to be listed”. At some point when time permits I will go through these particular blog posts and create organized listings of content with less generic descriptions.

Other Reasons For Starting Pad53:

  • I was already thinking about it based off of a similar blog I’ve run in the past, before the last time one of my social network pages got suspended.
  • I like my name attached to cool domains, and I think Pad53 is a good one.
  • I just wanted a place where I can share my content and voice my opinions if I have thoughts about something without some pussy out there in the world getting me blocked like it happens on social networks because they can’t handle different strokes for different folks.
  • I like to randomly post in the middle of the night about how I’m doing, what I’m working on, what I’m listening to, etc… even if no one cares, it’s just something I like to do. You can’t do that on social networks where everyone is trying to get your account suspended for every reason they can think of.

Commenting:

Comments are open on the blog. Strict moderation is in place. I do not allow negative comments regarding my writing, or other content posted here. Be aware that I (not you) determine whether your comment goes public or not. Do not include any links in your comments. Doing so will cause your comment to go directly to the spam filter and be automatically deleted in order to save me my precious time of having to delete it myself. You may put your website or blog in the url space provided in the comment form, however if your url goes against my personal qualifications for approval, I will not approve your comment.

Why Pad53?

Simply speaking, Pad53.com is a short url that is easy to remember, and fits the theme behind this blog of being my “online notebook”. Pad is a reference to notebook, and 53 was my age at the time I launched this blog.
