Note 167 T-Mobile Comes To Its Senses, Won’t Force More Expensive Plans On Customers

T-Mobile is not going ahead with its plans to force more expensive wireless subscriptions on users. The carrier has realized the move wouldn’t sit well with its customers.

My Comments: In my opinion, this would have been a disaster move for T-Mobile. I have had T-Mobile service since 2004. Even when I used to do online chat customer service for Verizon, I had T-Mobile. Yes I was one of those Verizon agents that read your complaints online that you weren’t getting any signal, while texting my loved ones on 4 and 5 bars of signal on my T-Mobile phone. Anyway, I was prepared to cancel two of my lines if T-Mobile increased my plan and just go back to a single line. I only added lines for the fun of it, not because I needed them. I’m sure I wasn’t the only customer ready to play some real game with T-Mobile.

Note 005 Just Heard Joann Stores Are Closing

I just heard today that Joann craft stores are (maybe?) closing due to finance reasons. After having worked at a Joann Distribution Center years ago, and based on how I, and many other employees were treated in regards to production, I don’t feel sorry for them closing.

Not to sound lazy, but their production standards for filling store orders and moving freight is unreal. Humans have limits to the physical work they can do over the coarse of 8 or more hours. I’ve never been in one of their stores. I’ve only browsed their website, but never bought anything. Nope, I don’t feel sorry for Joann at all. Not to mention their prices are outrageous.

Yarn is the biggest expense I have craftwise, and I’ve never been motivated to spend money on anything in that department that Joaan sells. I love Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn brand. They have tons of colors available at affordable prices.
