Note 081 New Laptop Part 2

I just finished setting up my new laptop. It is beautiful. The 17.3 inch screen makes a big difference in the screen space I have to work with compared to my other laptops.

I am considering to make this new laptop a dedicated machine for my Pad53.com website only. Doing so would decrease the amount of software I would otherwise need to install for photo editing to maintain my other websites.

So far I have installed Firefox browser. If I can stick to writing only on this new laptop, then I shouldn’t need to install anything else other than Open Office if I nees to create a ebook.

I’m happy to have this new laptop and I look forward to using it to build up Pad53 over the next few years.

Note 080 New Laptop

I’ve been wanting a new laptop. I don’t need a new one (I have 3 already lol), but I’ve been wanting one with a 17.3 inch screen for awhile so that I can have more screen space on the go. HP has been the brand I use when I buy laptops for awhile. I just love their style, and I generally don’t have many issues setting them up.

I found one with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD at Best Buy today on sale for $299 (regular $549). It cost me $326 with tax. It was a savings of $250 from regular price and fit the budget for what I usually allow myself to spend on laptops. I’ve never had a laptop with a 17.3 inch screen before. So I’m looking forward to having more screen space for writing, blogging, and browsing the web.

I will be working on setting up this new laptop tonight. So I may not be blogging much.
